Translation of the two texts on addiction

Being a slave to one’s job… how did our jobs cause us to no longer enjoy life?

It as if we are moving from one kind of slavery to another while the only thing that is changing is the job’s outside appearance, the core of the meaning of slavery is the same, and even if we do not notice it, having a job is like a well-written plot in which the element of slavery Is hidden behind the glamorous titles and names of the jobs such as doctor or lawyer. I am not saying that the names and titles of these jobs are fake but they are considered so impressive to the extent that even if the job is hard and is making our life a mess, the fact that it is deemed impressive and important relieves us. It is a mistake that we are allowing this mess to control us and we do not have the right to capture the loss it took from us. It is true that working is a human duty, we rely on it so that it supports us in this fragile life, but it became a battle for existence and the job has become our life rather than the job being the means to live our life.

Plastic surgery… From a form of enjoyment to an addiction.

At a point in time, plastic surgery was a trend limited to members of the upper class. The general public did not like plastic surgery because it was expensive and was not a popular phenomenon among the lower and middle class citizens. However, with the increased use of cable television and the internet by the general public, most of the population now want to change their appearance, whether men or women, in an effort to follow the main fashion trends and to copy the beauty standards of celebrities. It reached the extent to which they are becoming addicted to plastic surgery. It became a necessity after it was merely a form of leisure in the past.
