Resorting to plastic surgery was once restricted to a single social class due to its high cost and the absence of a cosmetic culture.
Most people were against plastic surgery and going to clinics was considered as “taboo”. However, with the use of social media and the constant rise of beauty standards, people are starting to change their physical appearances – men and women alike – in pursuit of fashion and tradition. Stars and celebrities become so obsessed with their physical appearance that they become addicted to plastic surgery. People focus so much on physical appearance that plastic surgery is nowadays considered a necessity, rather than a luxury as it once was.
