Plastic Surgery…From Pleasure To Addiction.

At one point in time, plastic surgery was limited to and accepted by a certain socio-economic class within Egypt, that being the higher socio-economic class. The increased cost of plastic surgery led to the boycotting of the specified clinics. However, due to the prominence and increase of national TV channels and social media platforms, more people started to become influenced by what they see and lean towards making changes in their appearance, whether it is men or women. They are in pursuit of attempting to look the same as the stars and celebrities that they see, leading them to the point of being addicted to plastic surgery and it becoming a necessity in life, rather than simply being a luxury as it was before.
