Plastic Surgury – From Leisure to Addiction

At one point in time, plastic surgery was only done and accepted by a certain social class, the upper-class. Due to the high cost of surgeries and the culture surrounding plastic surgery at the time, many people boycotted plastic surgery clinics. However, with the increase of social media and cable television, more people from the community were wanting to change their physical appearance, whether male or female, in order to look like certain celebrities or icons. This eventually turned into an obsession for plastic surgery, where people were now addicted to the procedures that used to mainly be for entertainment.

Tied to Money…How Work Lost It’s Fun

As we move from one addiction to another, only the physical thing changes, nothing else. The deep essence stays the same, yet we don’t notice. When it comes to the working life, we’ve become addicted to high positions and titles. Im not saying these are all fake, but because it os something we find comfort in, we work in this chaos. Of course, working is a duty in our lives, but it’s taking over. Suddenly all we want to do is reach goal, rather of focusing on the journey to get there.

Plastic Surgery…From Pleasure To Addiction.

At one point in time, plastic surgery was limited to and accepted by a certain socio-economic class within Egypt, that being the higher socio-economic class. The increased cost of plastic surgery led to the boycotting of the specified clinics. However, due to the prominence and increase of national TV channels and social media platforms, more people started to become influenced by what they see and lean towards making changes in their appearance, whether it is men or women. They are in pursuit of attempting to look the same as the stars and celebrities that they see, leading them to the point of being addicted to plastic surgery and it becoming a necessity in life, rather than simply being a luxury as it was before.

ِMoney enslavement: how we lost labor, the pleasure of life

It’s as if we’re moving from one enslavement to another, with nothing changing but the surface. The real jewel is the same, and if we do not realize it, the web of events is so elaborate that it glows from the quiver of reality, with bright names and titles. I will not pretend it’s fake, it rather embellishes our souls, we live in the chaos of its stinging glow and we sin when our chaos get a hold of us and we do not own the right to capture our losses in engaging it. It’s true that work is a human responsibility, and we depend on it so it would support us on the fragile pillars of life, but it’s the sacrifice of the battle of existence, and a goal more than a means.

Plastic surgery: from entertainment to addiction

At one point in history, plastic surgery was confined to a single social class, the well-off, the ones who concede cosmetology. Despite the increase in surgery prices and the absence of the culture of beauty in the majority of people, which are two factors behind the boycott of cosmetology clinics, the progression of satellite channels and the widespread of social media outlets, people are more inclined towards changing their looks, whether that involved men or women, as a perused effort from their behalf to follow up the new trends and emulating stars and celebrities in their outer physical looks. This is to a point of developing an addiction to plastic surgery, which has become one of the necessities, even though its endorsement was only out of entertainment.

Slaves of Money

Money turned us into slaves. What most of us fail to realize is that we’re corporate slaves, and this lack of realization is a result of being obsessed with job titles or positions, hierarchy and salaries. Such titles provide a sense of self-achievement, yet they indirectly create chaos in our lives. It is a shame that we allow our jobs to control our lives. Since work is an necessary duty for humans since we need it to acquire financial stability and wellbeing, the workforce becomes extremely competitive. As a result, people end up living their lives trying to gain money, instead of gain money in order to live.

عمليات التجميل … من متعة إلى إدمان Plastic surgery … from fun to addiction

In a period of time, plastic surgery was confined to a single social class that accepted the cosmetic category is the affluent, because the high cost of operations and the absence of a plastic culture at the time among the general population were working behind the boycott of plastic surgery clinics, but with the increase in satellite channels and the widespread spread of social networking sites Most individuals have become inclined to change their appearance, whether among women or men, in an attempt to follow the fashions of fashion and imitate the stars and celebrities in their external form, to the degree of their addiction to plastic surgery, which has become a necessity after the demand for luxury only.

عبودية المال.. كيف أفقدنا العمل متعة الحياة؟ Bondage of money .. How did we lose the pleasure of working life?

As if we are moving from slavery to another, the apparent is different, nothing else, the deep essence is the same, and if we do not notice the matter, the web of events is so perfect that it produces from the quiver of reality real names and glamorous titles, I will not pretend that it is fake but it is decorated with what comfort our souls so we live in the chaos of its stinging glow, and we sin when we possess us.
It is true that work is a human duty, which we lean on to support us on the pillars of fragile life, but it has become a battle for existence and an end rather than a means.

Money slavery- How we Lost the Enjoyment of Life Because of Work

People became slaves for money. We are jumping from one kind of slavery to the other, and what changes is a matter of appearances, but what is inside remains the same. If we did not notice, we are still slaves in the jobs we are working, but we think we are not because its all about the glamorous titles and names one obtains. I will not say that such titles and names are fake, but the job could be very impressive that even if it makes our lives chaotic, we still seem to be relieved that it is important. It is a mistake that we allow such mess to control our lives. It is true that work is an important duty for humans, we lean on work to support our hollow life, but the workforce became so competitive and people need to get money in order to live a proper life. Simply, people live to get money and not to get money to live.

Plastic Surgery- From Enjoyment to Addiction

In a period of time, plastic surgery was limited to a certain social class(i.e upper class). In general, the society did not like plastic surgery because it was expensive and not affordable by the middle and low class. However, with technology evolving and with social media being an important factor in the human lives, people now want to do plastic surgeries to alter their physical appearances and follow trends and public figures. Plastic surgery became an addiction to certain people, such that now it is considered a necessity rather than some luxury it was once long ago.

Money slavery…how we lost work, the enjoyment of life

As we switch from one type of slavery to another, the only thing that changes is the outward appearance, while the inner purpose remains the same even if we don’t notice that. The pattern of events is so realistic and accurate that it creates glamorous names and titles. I am not claiming that they’re fake but they’re sugarcoated with what calms our souls since we are living in its messy atmosphere. We’re mistaken when we believe this mess and we’re unable to control it once we’re fallen in its trap. It’s true that our work is a duty that we lean on for support in our fragile lives, but it has become a battle for existence and a goal rather than a method.

Plastic surgeries…from enjoyment to addiction

During a period of time, plastic surgeries were limited to a certain social class and that was the wealthy. The high cost of the surgeries and the lack of this culture during that time were the two main reasons behind boycotting plastic surgeons’ clinics. However, with the increase in satellite channels and the popularity of social media, most people are leaning towards changing their physical appearance, both men and women. They do this to try and follow the latest trends in fashion and to copy star celebrities in their physical appearances to the point that they are obsessed with these plastic surgeries which evolved into a necessity rather than just a form of recreation.
